Hi, it's me- Jake, Lilija, and Devin's newest sibling! They won't know if I'm a boy or girl for another 2 weeks, but they have their own guesses! According to Lilija, I'm her long awaited baby sister. But she'll love me even if I'm a boy ("Devin's a boy, and he's nice"). Jacob would like another brother to rough house with, but when he speaks about me he refers to me as "baby sister"...a baby sister named Saxophone by the way!!! And Devin has no clue what's in store for him.
It's fun listening to all the questions they ask Mommy and Daddy about me. Lily wanted to know how I eat, do I eat the same food as Mommy, do I just float around in Mommy's tummy, and am I scared since it's dark in Mommy's tummy! The best question was when she asked how I got in there...Mommy's heart rate got a little faster with that one. She's going to be a super great big sister.
Jake just thinks "it's cool that there's a baby" in mommy's tummy! He worries about me kicking and hurting mom, and he's always busy adding baby names to his list (the newest ones are Jason and Monica). He seems like a really cool kid to have as an older brother.
I can't wait to meet everyone in April...until then!!!
